Avon Brewery is Salisbury's own craft brewery, based in Harnham beside the River Avon. Their taproom opens at weekends, offering fresh pints of their core range and seasonal specials direct from the brewery — the freshest pints in the city by definition.
The riverside location is outstanding — the taproom backs onto the Avon and the Cathedral water meadows, with outdoor seating along the riverbank. On a Saturday afternoon in summer, few better places exist within the city to spend an hour or two with a quality local pint.
