Wilton House is one of the great English country houses — the ancestral home of the Earls of Pembroke for over 400 years, standing in 21 acres of landscaped grounds on the River Nadder, just three miles west of Salisbury. The house is a masterpiece of 17th-century English architecture designed by Inigo Jones, with staterooms containing one of the finest private art collections in Britain.
The Double Cube Room at Wilton House is one of the most spectacular interior spaces in England — hung with full-length Van Dyck portraits and furnished with Chippendale furniture. The collection also includes works by Rembrandt, Rubens and Bruegel.
The grounds feature a celebrated Palladian bridge, a river walk, rose gardens and adventure playground. Wilton House has been used as a film location for numerous productions including The Crown, Pride & Prejudice and Sense and Sensibility.
