Salisbury's historic heart — market, shops and the Cathedral

Salisbury city centre is compact and walkable — a medieval market town with a twice-weekly Charter Market (Tuesday and Saturday), independent shops on the High Street and Butcher Row, and a concentration of restaurants and pubs within a short walk of the Cathedral.
